CACEH National
Thanks to the generous support of 82 donors, our project has now raised $6,042 USD toward our $7,500 USD goal, with $1,458 USD left to go. Every contribution continues to strengthen our work with domestic workers across Mexico, expanding their access to knowledge, leadership opportunities, and essential tools to defend their rights.
Since our last update in August, we have broadened our reach and deepened our community work. Today, more than 100 domestic workers have participated in our workshops, legal guidance sessions, and leadership training programs. Each space becomes an opportunity to learn, grow, and build collective support.
What we have achieved from September to December Training and skill-building
From August to November, 52 domestic workers joined trainings on labor rights, social security enrollment, workplace safety, and violence prevention. These sessions provide not only practical knowledge but also confidence and empowerment.
Personalized legal support
Between July and November, 47 domestic workers received individualized legal guidance. Many faced challenges such as unfair dismissals, lack of written contracts, or unpaid benefits. With our support, they were able to make informed decisions and advocate for their rights.
Strengthening community leadership
This fall, 18 domestic workers completed an advanced training module as community legal promoters. Their leadership now reaches their neighborhoods and workplaces, multiplying the impact of the project and reinforcing community-based support networks.
Improvements to the Dignas App
This quarter, we continued enhancing the Dignas App, making it more intuitive and accessible. The app now reaches even more domestic workers with essential information on fair wages, labor rights, and social security—helping bridge the information gap faced by thousands of workers in informal employment.
In a country where 97% of domestic workers still lack social security, our mission remains clear: promote labor formalization, expand access to rights, strengthen leadership, and shift cultural perceptions about domestic work.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Each donation is an investment in dignity, justice, and opportunity.
Let’s keep building a future where domestic work is recognized, valued, and dignified.
