On October 2020, in a warm fall day brought together children and the staff of the Day Centre in Kukes Municipality in an Art activity.
Children were demostrated the materials, and were encouraged to work independently providing for them an opportunity to express themselves and be creative.
Painting does not come so easy for children with fine motor skills or cognitive delays or any other disability. Thus, art activities provide children with special needs a valuable experience of learning and building skills.
A 7 years old boy was happy when holding independently the paint brush while painting on canvas.
In each of the painting, children expressed their interest and their world. Looking forward to Holiday season or just communicating through using mix colours - offered a glimpse of their perspective.
Engaging in art work gave children a sense of pride and you can see how you made a difference for them.
