Using donations received through GlobalGiving, NEF connected a health center it constructed and operates in Dar al-Salaam al-Rabwa with running water, reaching over 2155 individuals. The health center provides pre- and post-natal care, primary health care, maternity services and health awareness to nearly 2,000 patients per month.
In addition, the project has expanded its work in the community, providing clean water to a local school reaching over 740 students.
Upcoming activities include extending water lines to schools in two additional neighborhoods. More than 1000 additional students will gain access to clean water through this expansion, which will in time reach the entire community of Dar al-Salaam al-Rabwa, serving over 25,000 displaced persons.
Thank you for your generosity and continued support towards the Clean Water For Sudanese War Refugees!
