Dancing involves auditory and visual perception, balance, motor coordination and memory. We need to remember sequences of movements, coordinate these movements in a time that marks the rhythm of the music and execute them in a space. In addition, when dancing, different brain systems learn to interact together, to be efficient together; especially, the nervous system, which is responsible, among other things, for creating the processes necessary to produce movement.
Dancing helps us to develop the capacity for concentration and attention and to have better empathy with people, increasing our confidence. It also helps our brain to form new neuronal connections.
In our project, each of the children and young people is important, not only for the development of their abilities but also for the relationship, respect and coexistence that they can achieve with each other. In addition to the fun and occupation of free time through dance, the expression of their feelings and emotions.
It is likely that the 150 children and young people who are part of the project today, are smarter, but the most important thing is that they are happier ... THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
