A Safer Space to Learn
In Tororo District, schools are becoming safer emotional spaces for children.
Hunger often creates anxiety, irritability, and withdrawal. Children struggling with food insecurity may feel stressed or disconnected.
With daily meals now provided, over 1,600 children are experiencing a more stable emotional environment.
They feel more secure, more relaxed, and more open to learning. This emotional safety is just as important as physical nutrition.
A child who feels safe is more likely to engage, ask questions, and participate fully in school life.
Your support is helping create learning environments where children feel emotionally supported and ready to grow.
