The Weight That Has Been Lifted
Hunger is a heavy burden—especially for a child.
In Tororo District, many children once carried that burden into the classroom every day.
It affected their ability to think, to focus, and to participate. It made learning harder than it should ever be.
Today, that weight is being lifted for over 1,600 children.
With daily meals, they are no longer held back in the same way. They are freer to engage, to learn, and to grow.
This change may not always be dramatic—but it is deeply meaningful.
You are helping lighten the load these children carry.
And in doing so, you are giving them the freedom to move forward.
