What Hunger Used to Take Away
Before this program began in Tororo District, hunger quietly took so much from children.
It took their attention in class.
It took their energy to participate.
It took their confidence to keep trying.
For some, it even took away their chance to stay in school.
Now, over 1,600 children are reclaiming what hunger once stole.
With daily meals, they are regaining their strength, their focus, and their determination to learn. Teachers are witnessing remarkable changes—children who once struggled are now actively engaged and progressing.
But perhaps the most powerful change is this: children are beginning to believe in themselves again.
That belief is something hunger had slowly taken away.
Your support is helping restore it—one meal, one day, one child at a time.
