We are reaching out with an urgent appeal to support a cause that is close to our hearts — providing daily school meals to 500 vulnerable children in rural Uganda.
The Challenge
Many children in the communities we serve attend school on empty stomachs. Hunger affects their ability to concentrate, learn, and stay in school. For some, a school meal is the only reliable meal they receive in a day.
Our Mission
Development Alert is committed to ensuring that no child’s education is hindered by hunger. We are launching a school lunch program to provide nutritious daily meals for 500 children throughout the upcoming school term.
