Displaced families residing in Al-Qaws camp face continuous economic hardship and severe food inflation, making basic daily food items unaffordable. Addressing these pressing nutritional needs, BESME INSANI executed an emergency daily bread distribution project specifically targeting vulnerable households across the camp. Over a dedicated field cycle, our logistical teams delivered 1400 kg of fresh bread bundles to 280 displaced families, directly benefiting approximately 1400 individuals.
Due to rising flour prices, purchasing daily staple food creates an overwhelming financial burden for unemployed parents in Al-Qaws camp. Partnering with certified regional bakeries, BESME INSANI dispatched thermal-insulated delivery vans at dawn to transport fresh bread directly to camp sectors. This ensured that families received warm, high-quality bread bundles straight to their shelter tents without paying transport fees or walking long distances.
Field coordinators worked alongside Al-Qaws camp representatives to establish organized, decentralized distribution points. Priority registration was given to widow-headed households, families caring for orphans, the elderly, and child-headed families. Verification officers confirmed vouchers against master databases to guarantee transparent delivery while preventing queue overcrowding.
Beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude for the consistent bread supply, noting that it eliminates a critical daily anxiety and allows them to allocate scarce household funds toward winter heating and medical care. BESME INSANI remains fully committed to maintaining its life-saving bread pipeline across Al-Qaws camp to shield vulnerable families from hunger.
