Daily Bread & Essential Food Support for Syria

For families displaced by conflict in Syria, finding enough food to meet the needs of everyone in the household can be a daily struggle. Parents often carry the responsibility of protecting their children while facing limited resources and difficult choices about which necessities they can afford.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, BESME INSANI successfully distributed essential food baskets to 674 vulnerable families experiencing displacement and severe hardship.

Each basket provided a selection of staple foods to help families prepare meals and reduce some of the pressure of daily food expenses. The assistance included essential items such as flour, rice, cooking oil, sugar, pasta, bulgur, and legumes.

For a family facing food insecurity, these items can make a meaningful difference.

A basket can mean that a mother has ingredients to prepare several meals for her children.
