BESME INSANI carried out a humanitarian campaign to distribute fresh bread and food baskets to 620 displaced families in northern Syria as part of its ongoing efforts to support communities affected by years of conflict and displacement. The initiative prioritized the most vulnerable households, including female-headed families, elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and families living in displacement camps and temporary settlements.
Many families continue to struggle to secure their daily food needs, making access to bread and basic food items increasingly difficult. This campaign was designed to provide immediate food assistance that helps reduce daily hardship while ensuring families can meet their essential nutritional needs with dignity.
Each food basket contained a selection of essential food items intended to support households for a reasonable period, while fresh bread was distributed through an organized system to ensure fair and efficient delivery. BESME INSANI's field teams supervised every stage of the operation, from beneficiary identification and logistics to distribution and post-delivery monitoring, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the process.
Beneficiary families expressed their appreciation for the assistance, explaining that the support eased part of their daily burden and provided reassurance during an extremely difficult period. For many households, receiving bread and food supplies represented more than material aid—it restored hope and reminded them that they had not been forgotten.
Through initiatives like this, BESME INSANI remains committed to supporting vulnerable families across Syria by delivering life-saving food assistance and helping communities face ongoing humanitarian challenges with dignity and hope
