For elderly residents, individuals with physical disabilities, and mothers managing multiple young children alone, traveling long distances on foot to purchase basic staples like bread is an insurmountable physical and financial barrier. As a result, many camp residents are forced to endure long periods without access to fresh, wholesome food.

In response to these geographical and physical challenges, BESME INSANI deployed mobile relief units to deliver fresh daily bread directly to the tents of 1,100 vulnerable households residing in remote camp locations. By bringing the food directly to their living spaces, our field teams eliminated the hardship of travel, ensuring that even the most frail and isolated community members received their fair share of essential humanitarian aid.
