Dafne, a talented student from Mexico, has been awarded one of the world's most prestigious scholarships: Erasmus Mundus. While the scholarship covers tuition, it does not include essential living expenses. With your support, she will be able to study at three universities in Croatia, Lithuania, and Belgium, which are among the top 1% and 5% in the world, and obtain three master's degrees.
In Mexico, the context of violence and inequality is alarming. Last year, more than 7,100 women went missing, and 10 women were killed every day. This harsh reality has driven Dafne, since 2018, to dedicate her life to creating social initiatives that empower and protect women. This scholarship supports her master's studies in Europe, where she will receive training in impact entrepreneurship. Her goal is to continue fighting for women's rights and supporting vulnerable communities.
Your support will empower her to gain the tools and knowledge needed to design and lead sustainable social projects that protect and uplift women in Mexico and around the world. It will also enable her to represent Mexico and advocate for women in international spaces, raising awareness of our realities and working toward a more just and equitable future. With your help, she can continue to be a strong and active voice in the fight for equality and justice.
She will expand Womentum nationally and internationally through training programs focused on leadership, entrepreneurship, mental health, and personal development. She will forge new partnerships with European institutions to provide resources, mentorship, and global opportunities for women in Mexico, Latin America, and Europe. She will also design free training and scholarship programs for women from vulnerable communities.
