After Vardah devouring the city and its outskirts mercilessly the city took month to recover. Most of the schools in Kanchipuram and Tiruvallur district being impacted by power shutdowns for a couple of weeks. Schools which were in outskirts of the city faced the wrath of the cyclone.
As part of Vardha Cyclone Disaster relief, the Foundation supported most of the effected schools and the students, to cope up with the scenario by lending a helping hand. The Foundation continued the distribution of uniforms, school bags, stationery’s like notebooks, pen, pencil, erasers, etc for the students. Along with that, the schools were provided with basic electrical repair works, plumbing works replacing old battery’s with new ones for laptops, changing damaged wires, computer servicing and so on. The Foundation not only provided the required materials but the resource persons ensured that the materials are reaching the needy. The schools appreciated the foundation for their hearty contributions and also for helping them in the hour of need.
We are very happy to say that, with the overwhelming donations received, we were able to reach the materials to quite a large number of students. The Foundation as a part feeling honored and had fulfilled the requirements of the schools and the students with the help of the donations by you all. Thank you.
