Activiites Taken-up During Last Quarter
Continuing the campaign of Chennai flood relief, during the last quarter the foundation focused on devising permanent solutions to the damage created by the floods.
To began with the foundation resolved the electrical issues and installed the basic requirements like Fans, Lights in the classrooms. Due to the heavy rain fall and seepage the classrooms walls were damaged and paint was removed from their surface.
The foundation repaired those walls and with the help of volunteers and professional painters all the classrooms were painted with good quality paint. Now the classrooms look more vibrant and colorful and able to provide comfortable atmosphere for the students in the classrooms.
The desktop computers which were impacted due to the floods were repaired during previous quarter. Now the computer lab is functional and daily is providing digital literacy access to 1300+ students.
