THE BLINDNESS FOUNDATION's, annual Eye Mission to Cambodia resulted in the re-training of over 40 Cambodian Ophthalmologists in modern concepts for treartment of cataract.

Cataract surgery cures blindness by replacing the diseased cataractous lens in the eye with a new lens implant, enabling the poor patient to recover eyesight . This helps them work and obtain a living. Most of the treated patients are poor and cannot afford the surgery. The Foundation assists by providing free lenses and supplies and works with subsidizing local Eye Doctors to perform the surgeries in Outreach Cataract programs.
Making this a self-sustainable project requires donation of lenses and medical supplies, together with training of the local Eye Doctors.
Thank you all for your kind help
