We have two major Eye Missions in Cambodia, both baseed out of Phnom Penh ,the capital city
One is based at the Children's Hospital , which despite its name also treat poos urban adults and outreaches into the rural poor villagers.
The primary goal is to reduce castaract blindness through surgery and lens implants , provide through THE BLINDNESS FOUNDATION.
These lenses or implants are provided through US manufactuirers who kindly donate them for the Eye Missions out of Texas..
Similarly we work with the Eye Doctors out of the University of Health Sciences, Ophthalmology Dept, wher Dr. lyon ishas been appointed as Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology.
Over 500 cataract patients have been treated this year and new Eye Missions are scheduled for this fall.
