Hope.
As the world accepts that the virus will be forever with us , borders are re-opening.
This permits travel and importantly, shipmentb of medical supplies to Cambodia, Laos, and the Philippines where
THE BLINDNESS FOUNDATION does its work.
We have supplies on hand ready for shipment. These are sent ahead of our Eye Missions,
to have everything already in place on our arrival.
Encouragingly ,it apprears that as we have been invited to help with the treatment programs for the blind,
Cambodia should be fully open in the fall of this year, 2022.
Once travel is arranged THE BLINDNESS FOUNDATION contacts the US medical supply and intra-ocular lens
companies for medical materiel and support. This has been put on hold during the US lockdowns.
Our office handles the re-packaging and shipments through the US Postal Service, which is removing restrictions
bit by bit each month.
Thank you for all your kind support , persistence and resolve in helping us carry on during this trying period.
