THE BLINDNESS FOUNDATION'S collaoboration with the PHNOM PENH CSC Surgery Center
and the University of Health Sciences Ophthalmology Department contiues to help treat and cure blindness in the poorer Cambodian people.
We are gearing up for another Cambodian Eye Mission tba in the fall as the covid recedes.
Our last mission in December 2020 was able to achieve training of the Ophthalmology Residents in reconstructive surgery techniques to improve their skill- sets in managing land mine injuries and facial burns.
This is in addition to THE BLINDNESS FOUNDATION donating medical supplies to continue the 2000 cataract surgeries performed annually at CSC and its Cataract Outreach Program.
Several hundred lens implants were dontaed and shipped to help cure cataract blindness in over 400 blind Cambodians.
Your help is needed to complete this valuable work and provide additional suppoert in the coming Fall cambodian Eye mission
Thank you all for your kind and generous support,
Dr Chris Lyon
Medical Director
