Curbing the Community Spread of Ebola in Uganda

Despite the challenges presented by the Ebola outbreak, communities continue to demonstrate remarkable strength, cooperation, and resilience. Families, volunteers, local leaders, and health workers are working together to promote prevention measures and protect vulnerable individuals.

During this reporting period, our project focused on community awareness activities, health education sessions, and the promotion of safe hygiene practices. These efforts have helped increase community knowledge and encourage positive health behaviors.

Many beneficiaries have expressed appreciation for the information and support they have received. Community members are taking a more active role in protecting themselves and their neighbors by sharing prevention messages and participating in awareness activities.
