Uganda continues to face recurring Ebola outbreaks that threaten vulnerable communities, especially in densely populated and rural areas with limited access to healthcare information and protective resources. Recent outbreaks in Uganda and neighboring regions have highlighted the urgent need for stronger community awareness, rapid response systems, infection prevention measures, and local health education. This project, led by the Good Cause Foundation, aims to reduce Ebola spread
Ebola remains one of the deadliest viral diseases in Africa, with outbreaks causing fear, loss of lives, economic disruption, and pressure on already fragile healthcare systems. Uganda has experienced multiple Ebola outbreaks over the years, and the recent regional alerts demonstrate the continuing risk of community transmission.
