Strengthening Hygiene and Infection Prevention Practices
Good hygiene practices remain one of the most effective ways to reduce the risk of Ebola transmission. Good Cause Foundation is working with communities to promote handwashing, sanitation, and other infection prevention measures that protect families and individuals.
Awareness activities are reaching schools, households, and community groups with practical information on maintaining hygiene and recognizing early warning signs of illness. Community members are actively participating in discussions and adopting healthier behaviors.
These preventive actions are helping build a culture of health and safety that extends beyond the current outbreak. The knowledge gained today will continue benefiting communities in the future.
Thank you for your continued partnership. Your support is helping vulnerable communities access essential health education and preventive resources.

Enhancing Community Surveillance and Awareness
Uganda's Ebola response continues to rely heavily on community participation and early detection efforts. As health authorities monitor confirmed cases and trace contacts, Good Cause Foundation is supporting awareness activities that encourage communities to remain alert and informed.
Through community dialogues and health education sessions, residents are learning how to recognize Ebola symptoms and understand the importance of reporting suspected cases promptly. Increased awareness is helping communities contribute to surveillance efforts and support public health interventions.
Our volunteers continue to work closely with local leaders to ensure that accurate information reaches vulnerable households. These efforts are helping reduce misinformation and strengthen public confidence in response measures.
We are deeply grateful to our donors for supporting this critical work. Your generosity is helping communities become active partners in preventing the spread of Ebola.
Please, let us help the community

Strengthening Preparedness for Future Health Emergencies
The current Ebola outbreak highlights the importance of investing in long-term community preparedness. Good Cause Foundation is using this opportunity to strengthen local capacity for responding to future public health emergencies.
Our teams are training community volunteers, promoting hygiene practices, and encouraging households to stay informed about health risks. These activities not only support the current Ebola response but also improve readiness for future disease outbreaks.
Prepared communities are more resilient, respond more quickly to health threats, and experience better outcomes during emergencies. The knowledge and skills gained today will continue benefiting families long after the current outbreak is contained.
We sincerely thank our donors for their continued partnership. Your support is helping create stronger, healthier, and more prepared communities across Uganda.
We are here to help the community
