Pilgrims of Hope to Build Peace
This year, we joined the global celebration of the 2025 International Day of Peace by broadcasting a special three-hour edition of our weekly program, ConstruYOpazRD RADIO, on Radio Luz 93.7 FM. Themed “Pilgrims of Hope to Build Peace,” the program featured powerful conversations and reflections that inspired our listeners to live peace in their everyday lives — at home, in schools, and across communities.
We had especially moving moments with our three main guests. Psychologist Laura Cordero shared how caring for the elderly with tenderness is a powerful act of peace. Writer and social advocate Milagros de Jesús de Féliz, author of Me gustaría contarte, spoke about the healing power of hope-filled storytelling. And Father Prudencio Piña, S.J., Jesuit priest and educator, reminded us that schools can become true workshops for peace when we teach children how to coexist with respect and empathy.
The program was hosted by Annette Tejada and Father Pablo Ariel López, with Abner Lynch as the voice-over and Juan Luis Rodríguez managing technical production. We closed the broadcast with a heartfelt spiritual reflection and a message of hope, inviting the audience to continue being peacebuilders in their own communities.
Since our last report, we have continued to produce and air this program every week, promoting values like empathy, dignity, forgiveness, and nonviolent communication. Thanks to your support, we are strengthening communities through education and media that inspire lasting peace.

Peregrinos de Esperanza para Construir Paz
Este año, nos unimos a la celebración global del Día Internacional de la Paz 2025 con una edición especial de tres horas de nuestro programa semanal ConstruYOpazRD RADIO, transmitido por Radio Luz 93.7 FM. Bajo el lema “Peregrinos de Esperanza para Construir Paz”, el programa ofreció conversaciones y reflexiones que invitaron a nuestra audiencia a vivir la paz en lo cotidiano: en el hogar, en la escuela y en la comunidad.
Tuvimos momentos especialmente emotivos con nuestros tres invitados principales. La psicóloga Laura Cordero nos habló sobre el cuidado amoroso hacia las personas mayores como un acto de paz. La escritora Milagros de Jesús de Féliz, autora de Me gustaría contarte, compartió el poder de las historias para sembrar esperanza en medio de la adversidad. Y el Padre Prudencio Piña, S.J., sacerdote jesuita y educador, nos recordó que la escuela puede ser un verdadero taller de paz cuando se educa para convivir.
El programa fue conducido por Annette Tejada y el Padre Pablo Ariel López, con la voz en off de Abner Lynch y la operación técnica de Juan Luis Rodríguez. Cerramos la jornada con una reflexión espiritual y un mensaje de esperanza que invitó a la audiencia a continuar construyendo paz desde su entorno cotidiano.
Desde nuestro último reporte, seguimos produciendo y transmitiendo este espacio cada semana, promoviendo valores como la empatía, la dignidad, el perdón y la comunicación no violenta.
