Dear Generous Donors and Supporters,
We are pleased to provide you with an update on our project titled “Cultivate Plants, Cultivate Peace in Ethiopia.”
Although we did not raise additional funds during this reporting period for our Peace and Reconciliation initiative, our commitment to its objectives remains steadfast. We continue to make a significant impact by utilizing existing resources and the support of various donors.
Throughout this period, we have focused on providing crucial assistance to the most vulnerable members of the displaced population. Thanks to the generous support from GlobalGiving and its partners, we have delivered critical aid to communities devastated by landslides in the Kencho-Shacha area of the Gofa Zone in southern Ethiopia. These landslides have claimed hundreds of lives, displaced thousands, and forced many from their homes. During this time, we provided essential supplies, including household items, food, water, and medical aid, to 50 women affected by this tragedy to help alleviate their urgent needs.
We will continue to keep you informed as this project progresses, sharing inspiring stories of resilience and hope. Together, we are lighting the way for a brighter future for Ethiopia's vulnerable women and children—one act of kindness at a time.
Thank you for your continued support.
