13 New Rescues!

By beth randall | director

Hey folks more rescues have come in so we need your help!!

We took in 3 elder ferrets that all have medical issues- adrenal heart and more- their family really really love them but due to unforeseen circumstances they could not get them the vet care they need.  So Bubba, Rex & Nellie have joined our free range ferret room.

We took in 3 ratties Snowball, Mr. Whiskers, and Jordan because the family was moving and couldn't take them.

And we just took in 7 lady guinea piggies that had been thru 2 shelters before us and had originally come from a rescue of over 100 piggies! We do not know how long they have been separated from boys so we have them all on baby watch for now! We welcome Alyvia, Ann, Di, Minnie, Scamper, Lolita & Isadora.

We had 2 sad good byes too- Pogo our former education ferret went quietly to the bridge- just of old age. And our blind fennec Ivix joins him at the bridge too. Ivix was 9 years old and blind due to a taurine deficiency which also causes heart failure. One day he just didn't wake up. It's good he made it to his life expectancy tho (they live 9-12 yrs) and we are glad they both knew great love and care before they left this world.

If you can find it in your heart to give just a little , any amount helps we would greatly appreciate it!

Of course Critter Camp is a USDA licensed 501c3 registered non profit, fully insured and regularly inspected.

Thank you!
