Meet Olaf & Bugsy , Plus an Update!

By Beth Randall | Director

Bugsy
Bugsy

Meet our newest rescues!
Olaf the mink is an escapee from a fur farm! He was found by a caring young lady who kept him briefly as a pet then went through all proper channels to get him to our sanctuary where he can live out his life safe & happy!

Bugsy is an elder guinea pig whose owner became allergic to him. He is now living happily in our free range piggy haven!

CritterCampMom update: The Meniere's attacks have returned at the rate of 1-2 a week, the daily dizziness continues. Two new medicines ahve been tried to no avail. The next steps are seeing a neurologist (tomorrow) and having an injection of gentamicin in the eardrum (April 21.) Despite it all Critter Camp continues on, and always will! We are even working on some new ideas for our proposed stand alone facility! In the meantime we NEED You!

Critter Camp takes in the least of the least pets- many who are too old or sick or unusual or aggressive or fearful to be adopted to the public. Because of our unusual one of a kind rescue we are not eligible for 99% of animal welfare grants (they concentrate on cats/dogs, adoption, spay/neuter, wildlife, horses, primates, etc.) So for the past 13+ years we have relied on wonderful people like you to care for these forgotten souls. We take no pay and no overhead, all donated money and supplies go directly to the animals' care, with a few extras like licensing and insurance that are required.

We appreciate your support!!
Thank you!
