New Rescue! 20 Rats!

By Beth Randall | Director

Just in time for Cookie Saturday!
Just in time for Cookie Saturday!

Hi folks,

Critter Camp Exotic Pet Sanctuary takes in only the unadoptable and unusual pets that have nowhere to go and gives them a safe healthy loving home for the rest of their lives.

For example, we have a free range colony of rabbits that have bitten people and were going to be euthanized.

Recently we just took in a group of 20 rats from an emergency situation where they were in immediate danger. No other rescue would take them.

Since we don't adopt and we take the pets other than cats & dogs there are very few funding sources or grants that we qualify for ( we've even had grad students search!) Therefore we rely on individual donations to make up the $600-800 we need each week to provide quality food, bedding and vet care for the over 200 animals here at the sanctuary. It's almost time for our annual $1100 liability insurance premium too.

Any Help you can give is appreciated! No amount is too small, no amount is too large!

Thank you!

Beth
