We have a lots of new rescues who need your help!
A few weeks ago we took in 9 guinea pigs from a huge hoarding situation, we only took the least adoptables including 2 females that may be pregnant! (Other rescues took in the over 400 total!)
We also helped place 3 foxes that were confiscated at a meth lab! A red and a pair of marbles. We found them great homes and they are happy!
Last week we took in 2 new fennec foxes! They are 4-5 years old, and were a former breeder's personal pets she had to give up due to personal issues. They are a bonded pair, Ivex the male is completely blind and Bunny is his seeing eye fox! He is always calm if he can feel her next to him. It will take some time for them to bond with me but they are settling in very well considering all they have been thru.
This week we took in 10 degus from a rescue that was closing. They are all extremely hyper and not handleable.
And finally today we took in two elder (6 yr old) male guinea pigs whose owner is getting divorced and cannot take them.
CritterCampMom's health is still not great, still dizzy every day. She has an appointment with the specialist in December so we will see what the next steps are. It is exhausting fighting the dizzy every day. In the meantime her knee is acting up- in an MRI they found a huge mass of fluid under the muscle that has to be compressed to be reabsorbed. And sure the toes still hurt.
But we go on with our mission because of YOU our supporters who truly care about these animals and make it possible for us to care for them!
We need you now more than ever!
Any amount helps! Thank you!
