BIG Rescue! 33 rats And More!

By Beth Randall | Director

New boys
New boys

Recently Critter Camp Exotic Pet Sanctuary took in 33 rats from a private rescuer who had a house fire. Tragically she had to rehome all of her animals and we took the unadoptable ones. Currently they are in two colonies, 21 boys and 12 girls.  They are not handleable and will bite. We are glad that we can give them a safe place to live out their lives.

Critter Camp has also been chosen to be The Travelin' Rat's Rescue of the Month for March!

Critter Camp also welcomes new rescues Celine & Stella, a pair of girl guinea piggies whose time had run out at a kill shelter. When they got here we realized they are pregnant! So more little babies for adoption soon!

We also took a rabbit in the same rescue whose time had run out but he turned out to be very sweet and adoptable. He is beginning a new life at Blue Moon Sanctuary as a therapy bunny!

Thank you to all of our supporters who make our continued success a reality! So many lives saved because of YOU!
