We hope all of you are having a great start to the new year- despite the horrible winter weather many of us are facing!
Don't worry, Spring will be here soon!
So far this year we have taken in and adopted out a pair of aquatic turtles who were found in a dumpster!
Yes Lucy the red eared slider and her buddy Ethel the yellow belly slider were found in bitter cold in a bucket in the trash! Critter Camp does not normally take in aquatic turtles or adoptable pets, however there were no other rescues that would accept them within hundreds of miles! So we took them and luckily found a fantastic home for them too!
We've had other new residents come in as well, some ratties & a guinea pig named Lou.
We also helped a woman with cancer find homes for her beloved degus.
Critter Camp celebrated Valentines day with some cute pics too!
