More Rescues at Critter Camp

By Beth Randall | Founder & President

Since our last report we have taken in some new rescues:

Meet newest guinea piggies Betsy and Phoebe - both elders who lost their cagemates and were lonely, now happy in our big colony of older ladies

Welcome the Wild Boys - a group of 6 half wild ratties that are definiely more feral than tame- their mommy was a domestic pet rat who got loose in an apartment building in Chicago and came home pregnant by a wild male! These fells will stay here for sanctuary because of their temperament. We named them after the male leads in Stranger Things - Will, Mike, Dustin, Hopper, Steve & Lucas.

We had 100% perfect inspections by the USDA and the IL Dept.of Ag too.

Sadly we lost our 9 year old elderly mink Elsa to natural causes, she will be truly missed.

Thank you for your ongoing support so we can continue to help these needy animals!
