You met newest rescue rabbit Alice in our last update, now you can see her free range in our Bunny Haven! See the link below to watch a video of a very happy bunny hopping about with her new friends!
Critter Camp strives to give all of the animals here in our care the very best possible life. That is why our bunnies, guinea pigs and ferrets all have free range rooms. When we build our proposed new building the prairie dogs and kinkajous will also have their own free range rooms too.
Did you know you can come take a tour of Critter Camp and meet the animals? We are located in northwest IL and the tours are by appointment, generally booking 4-8 weeks in advance. See the link below for more information.
Thanks to all of our generous support Critter Camp was able to accept another rescue ratty this week. Meet Templeton, a 6 month old male ratty that began fighting with his cage mates, and escalated to biting his owners.
So Templeton ( named after the ratty in Charlotte's Web) will live here at Critter Camp safely, and we will work with him to see if he can become friendly again.
And finally we say Happy Birthday to Quiggly one of our 3 fennec foxes here at Critter Camp. He turned 6 this week! See the video link below :)
We cannot thank all of you enough for helping Critter Camp carry out our mission to care for the unadoptable small unusual pets that need us so much! We cannot do it without your help!
