Since our last report Critter Camp has rescued more small unadoptable animals including elderly lady guinea piggiesTrixie, Charlotte & Daisy; and abandonded ratty Petunia. Petunia was dumped near a pet store in freezing cold weather, and found the next morning. She's unsteady because she is missing her tail too. Now she's safe here.
Sadly we recently lost our elderly blind fennec fox, Stevie. He was diagnosed with bone cancer last December and the vet tried to get most of it from his leg. Unfortunately it came back with a vengeance and we had to have his leg amputated. He seemed to recover well at first but then it was just too much for his tired old already compromised little body to take and he went to the Rainbow Bridge in his sleep in his cozy bed.
We truly appreciate your ongoing support of our mission to provide a safe loving home for unadoptable small and unusual pets as we have for nearly 2 decades.
