This project will provide emergency shelter, medicines, food, clean water, and wheelchairs to flood-affected families and persons with disabilities in Sindh, Pakistan, helping them survive displacement and rebuild dignity.
Massive floods in Pakistan have destroyed homes, submerged villages, and displaced millions of people. Families are living on roadside embankments without proper shelter, clean water, or food. Among the most vulnerable are PWD's, who face additional barriers in accessing relief, mobility, and healthcare. Many have lost their mobility aids in the floods, leaving them dependent on others for survival. Without urgent action, thousands remain at risk of disease, hunger, and further marginalization.
DWA is on the ground providing inclusive humanitarian relief to flood-affected families, ensuring PWD's are not left behind. Tents & Shelter Kits - to protect families from harsh weather Medicines & First Aid - to treat injuries & prevent disease outbreaks Food & Clean Water - essential rations & purification support Wheelchairs & Mobility Aids - restoring independence for PWD's Livelihood Support - protecting livestock & helping families restart basic income activities.
Your support will not only address urgent needs but also build resilience for flood-affected communities. Providing wheelchairs and assistive devices ensures persons with disabilities can regain independence even after the emergency phase. By protecting families and their livelihoods, this project will help them recover faster, reduce dependency, and rebuild stronger, more inclusive communities.
