Thank you GlobalGiving donors! Your support enables us to work with more villages in rural India to bring about social change through the Jamkhed model. The goal is health for all and each donation allows us to reach more people. We are so grateful for that!

Snapshot of CRHP's Successes in 2013:

• Began sessions with the Village Health Workers on giving nutritional advice and promoting active lifestyles, in an effort to combat emerging health issues of diabetes and hypertension.
• Renewed our relationship with the Society for the Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) to train over 450 health workers and activists from Andhra Pradesh this past year. 
• Partnered with the Freedom from Poverty Foundation (FFPF), which approached CRHP after identifying a chronic lack of healthcare in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh around the school it maintains.
• Completed construction on the new Izmir training center.
• Opened the new Science Center where we are now running hands-on, activities-based science and technology demonstrations for schoolchildren. 
• Strengthened the adolescent programs by adding more interactive and activity-based sessions to the curriculum.
• Forged a new partnership with the government of Sri Lanka, who have given the green light for a pilot scheme of the CRHP model in one province later this coming year.

In addition to the above successes, we still continue to run our various programs: Farmers' Clubs, Women's Self-Help Groups, Adolescent Programs, Artificial Limb, Khadkat farm and Rehabilitation Center, Village Health Worker trainings, Mobile Health Team visits, and the Julia Hospital.
