"Creative Bridges" is a day camp initiative in Irpin, Ukraine, designed for internally displaced children and children from war-affected families. The project supports mental health, emotional recovery, and social integration through art, creativity, cultural activities, and safe community interaction. The camps will take place at the IRPIN BRIDGE art space and will bring together displaced and local children through creative workshops, art therapy sessions, cultural events, team activities.
War and displacement have left many children experiencing stress, anxiety, social isolation, and difficulties adapting to new communities. Internally displaced children often lack safe spaces for creativity, emotional recovery, communication, and positive social interaction, which negatively affects their mental health and integration into community life.
The project will provide safe and inclusive day creative camps where displaced and local children can connect through art, creativity, cultural activities, and teamwork. Through workshops, art therapy, games, and community interaction, children will improve emotional well-being, reduce isolation, strengthen communication skills, and build supportive social connections in their new environment.
The project will help internally displaced and war-affected children build emotional resilience, improve mental health, and develop lasting social connections within their new community. IRPIN BRIDGE will continue providing a safe creative environment where children can grow, communicate, and integrate through art, culture, and positive shared experiences.
