Beginning 2022 the Texas Diaper Bank introduces a redesigned program called; the Essentials to Your Door (ETYD) program. This newly redesigned program is a powerhouse of three former programs, Diaper Assistance, Incontinence Assistance, and Healthy Women Period Supplies program to deepen our attempt to tackle Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) by providing increased access to education and health supplies, both vital components to self-sufficiency.
By offering these two elements of healthcare supply access and education, TXDB seeks to change the health disparities that have been exacerbated by the COVID pandemic. Free delivery to qualifying families (see Targeted Population section for more details) enrolled in the ETYD program for 6 months and re-enrollment occurs every 6 months thereafter.
We're incredibly excited about our newly redesigned structure and hope that this will help us serve the greatest number of people in our community.
