A small group of volunteers from the Rotary Club of Ormskirk Clocktower and the local community have this week flown out to Uganda to start the next phase of the refurbishment programme. Included in their baggage allowance were educational materials, stationery, medical supplies, children’s clothes and shoes.
The money raised though Global Giving has been added to funds previously raised and will allow the team to complete work on the school building (work started last year) and the refurbishment of the children’s homes.
