Dear Donor,
2012 marked the start of the Green Rhinos Program........we now have more than 300 Green Rhinos on board. It is our aim to create 5000 Green Rhinos by December 2014.
Here is what the Green Rhinos in the Sundarbans have to say:
- After planting trees in and around the school campus, Pulak Paria, a student of Grade 10 said:” I want to continue this work as my duty towards the environment of Sundarban”
- Hasina and Rosonara Khatun have been part of a successful effort of garbage cleaning in and around their school. They, along with other Green Rhinos, have created a compost pit for organic garbage. They say “We want to make our environment greener, we want to use bio fertilizer to stop pollution and we want to grow a large Green Rhino network in and around our locality”
May the Green Rhinos forge ahead with your help in 2013!!
Thank you for your continued support,
Diti Mookherjee
