Hello there from Kenya, I would like to report that we still dearly need your support towards this project as we have just opened the schools last month and the children still need the food stuffs to be safe at school hence we come to you humbly requesting for your unequivocal support for these vulnerable groups in our school.
The rates of the vaccinated lot has increased but this don’t mean we are safer neither our children are safer at school and with your support we shall be able to contain them a bit within our schools compound during lunch hours and provide for them hot meals at least once a day.
These families were greatly affected by the pandemic and they haven’t rebuilt yet hence we still need to go extra miles in supporting them well with all that we can to make them safer.

In the recent past the government has embarked on rapid vaccination to its population and this is really bearing fruits in that many people have already gotten their first and second jabs to enable them stay Covid free. This has really worked and to enhance this we have also put it mandatory that we encourage everyone to go for these jabs hence reducing the risk of them being attacked by the virus again and again.
This is the only sure way t stay safe after a very long time since it started. Many families have been affected and are received from the aftermath of the Covid impacts in our community here in Kenya. many lost their jobs and some have already received and gotten back to work while most of these families stil languish in abject poverty hence still they need any assistance to make them move on with quality life with their children.
Here in Kenya the government has lifted the mask usage but the corona variant is still here with us and most children are still in dare need of the food to sustain them in schools. Most families have been affected by this virus and their income completely shattered hence there is much need of assisting such families to keep them going.
In deed most mothers and fathers of these children lost jobs and its been two years of agony as they struggle to recover from this loss of jobs hence they still need outside assistance to enable them continue with their normal lives here. any donations would go a long way to assist them in this recovery process.
Hopefully by next year we shall be having a corona free country if all goes well with the ongoing vaccinations which the government is trying to do in masses and seems people are accepting that its new normal to get the jab. Initially there were resistance with the jab but right now its okay and many have been vaccinated
Since the beggining of this year of 2022 the new omicron variant has been cuasing havoc in all our counties herte in kenya, there has been a sharp increase in infections for the last one month and the government is very worried that if nothing is done urgently it might be overwhelmed with the current situation calling for variuos interventions put in place, everuyone has been put on alertt mode as the hospitals dwindle to manage the in patient from the infected parsons.
the government has been reorting over 1,000 cases daily with the most hit are Nairobi, mombasa and kisumu cities. These are the cities which have international airport for entry of vistors from outside Kenya.
The schools have just oppened and most students are now going back to school and this would really increase the infections since there would be rural urban and urban rural migrations taking place. We hope for the best and we wish to ask for more and more assistence to help us curb the stiation in our rural villages by implementing safety strategies here we shall be able t save alot of lives of these nvuklnarable children and women in our village in Paponditi Kenya.
the government has urged people to get vaccinated after it emerged that this new variant has low efffects on those whom have recieved their second doses of the vaccine.
From last month the government has received millions of doses from international world to help in getting its populace vacinnated agaisnt covid 19, This actin of mass vaccination would see the reduction in the infection rates which had sky rocketed in the past moaths and is now wrecking havoc in the rural areas and more so the elderly people in teh rural villages are succumbing to the virus and its a bad situation indeed. With these donated vaccines from USA and Europe we shall be able to mobilize as many people as possible to get this jab and this we have to do it with speed starting with the most vulnearable groups e.g teh elderly population within our village.
The hospital;s are not within their reach we will try as much as we can to ferry them in numbers to give them access to these vaccines, this will really reduce teh rates of infections within our vilage if done in mass. If need be we shall be able to have a van statiuoned in a strategic place to ferry them to and from the PapOniti District Hospital where these vaccines are administred.
