The project aims to prevent the spread of covid 19 to poor women living with HIV/AIDS in Kaalo and Bule community in Butambala District through construction permanent hand washing stationations every homestead house hold.the project will home managed.promotion of hand washing will be monitored by the members of households in cooperation with Kyakulumbye Development Foundation it will focus on availing water stations to every house holds the project will target women living with HIV/AIDS .
The problem is lack of easy access to water for hand washing it is therefore appreciated that in the rural setting their is always frustrated demand for washing their hand who do not have access to water.this is normally to great distance 1.5 kilometers traveled to collect water, a common difficult to HIV/AIDS affected women were the sources are normally scattered and far away from their house holds,.this hand washing stations is taken as modest reserves for an individual-house holds.
Kyakulumbye will support 100 households with hand washing station in order to prevent the spread of covid 19 targeting women and children in Bule and Kaalo.
The project will prevent spread the spread of covid 19 in the community through hand washing daily using soap strategically located at house holds.
