With the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, our direct involvement in our core project is to continue with online support, and with ensuring economic hardship, we funded food supplies. While the students stay home and also their parents, we will provide vegetable seeds, organic fertilizer, and pesticides, plus training to vulnerable families in the rural area to start their garden at home.
The children are currently unable to attend school, and we do not know when they can return. School means education but also supervision and daily routines. One, at times, both parents lost their jobs during the COVID 19 pandemic. Families want to grow vegetables at their own home; unfortunately, they could not afford to buy materials and seeds.
The home vegetable project will help students and their families produce their food and create an activity within their family while staying home. It is a part of a lesson when they return to school; they can bring this experience to share with the classmate or teacher. It is also creating a happy moment of seeing plants grow. It also helps them remain healthy and have steady income and nutrition during these very challenging times.
Kamboo Project follows the guideline "help for self-help" - our projects enable people to help themselves and improve their living conditions in different situations. Significantly, your donation will help vulnerable kids and families to reduce their stress during this challenging time. The children also have time with their parents and also learning at the same time. Moreover, it also helps with the spreading of the Covid 19.
