During the COVID-19 crisis, along with the world, people from Bangladesh also experienced lock down and loss of jobs. Realizing the immediate need, and to reduce mismanagement, Heroes for All swiftly organized a relief program all across Bangaldesh especially for families who were suffering due to loss or lack of jobs.
The volunteers raised money to buy 1 or two weeks food supply including 10 Kgs of rice, 2 Kgs, Onion, 2 Kg Potatoes, 2 Kg Lentils, Spice packets, Salts, two soaps and 1 litre cooking oil and conducted a door to door distribution.
People from different professions such as day labourers, RMG workers, teachers, street vendors, rickshawpullers, small business owners also contacted HFA with request of support and HFA also added eggs and milk for families with kids in the food supply.
The project continued till the end of July and now using some of the $1000 to help Flood victims who are experencing two tragedies at once.
The campaign successfully raised $3000 and would be wrapping up this project for now.
Thanks to all the generous donors who supported us to help those in need during this crisis. We will be uploading new projects soon.
