Our rural communities in Rivers state, is in a difficult situation getting complicated by the day. We, kindly, Request for Donation to Help Combat the Deadly COVID-19 Virus in a massive effort to help prevent, detect, and manage the novel coronavirus.
Rural Communities here in Rivers State of Nigeria, do not have the resources to contain the COVID-19 pandemic and manage the cases, and without external support, health infrastructure is likely to collapse and many lives lost.The Problem are as follows: Our rural communities not adhering to hygienic and precautionary measures Limited protective equipment for health workers and volunteers Insufficient Resources(No PPEs,Medical Surgical Masks,Sanitizers,soap,food and water supply etc.
HERO Africa will Increase public sensitization and ensure institutions, shops,market places and officers and citizens adhere to hygienic rules in our rural communities.We have videos that are being being translated in our various communities languages apart from English language. Funding raised from donors to be used by HERO Africa for Project Execution. Provision of adequate equipment's for health workers,volunteers and indigenes of our rural communities.Potable supply of water,and food .
