Thank you all so much for your generous support! Because of you we have been able to help our clients receive 93 therapeutic riding lessons this past month alone! You are helping to change the life of a child with every dollar that you donate!
Because of COVID we have created a new program, Soar: Uplifting Youth through Equine Therapy & Community, to support our youth struggling with depression, anxiety and other mental health challenges. You have made this possible!
COVID is hitting our teenagers hard. They need to have social interactions often with their peers to feel connected. Depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation was already a pandemic with our youth before COVID hit. Now a lot of children who have never experienced depression or anxiety are feeling isolated and deeply depressed. It is my goal as the Executive Director of BITS to help alleviate some of our teenagers suffering during this pandemic. We started a new program for groups of teenagers struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD and other mental health challenges. We will create a supportive community for them while providing them with therapies that can help them to learn about themselves and learn new coping skills to help them not only survive but thrive in their new world that we are currently experiencing.
This program will be funded through grants and fundraising efforts. We want each group of teens to be offered eight weeks of free programming. We can only do that with support from people like you!
Thank you all so much for your generous support! We are only able to offer these wonderful programs because of you!
