Thank you very much for your support to our efforts to support the LGBT Community during the Covid19 crisis.
In 2021, we stepped up our efforts to provide succor to the transfenger community members in Tirupati and Madanapalli. We also provided groceries to more than 1500 members and medical support to a few.
In early 2022, we started our empowerment program for 12 transgender community members. We provided them financial support to launch their small businesses like vegetables and other shops.
We are also planning to tie up with some established NGOs related to LGBT issues and work towards empowerment of some of the community members.
Our idea is to make sure the members are well-educated and pursue a business or career of their chioice.
Since this community is still looked down upon by the general public, it is important that you extend your helping hand and understanding towards the community.
Recently, we have been able to help a transgender woman get placed in a school as a teacher. It was a big achievement in the local neighborhood.
