This project proposes to act on two fronts: in the study and mapping of the mental health of students and, in the support and guidance to the participating public schools regarding the prevention and coping of socio-emotional and mental demands present frequently in the lives of these students. In addition, it intends to discuss next future care measures and interventions in the face of situations of imminent risk/emergency, such as preventing suicide.
Given the importance of the theme and its application, the project not only fulfills a bureaucratic routine, but it is also an intense work that demands enormous attention and research from the teams involved on both sides, its validation and approval presuppose important responsibilities which leads to an important investment of dedication, study time, evaluation, information exchange, and data analysis.
In early 2022, Alpha Lumen held a meeting specifically planned and directed to the professionals of the Public School "Matarazzo", involved in the project. This was a specific approach to prepare professionals, aiming to reinforce their skills and perceptions about the behavior of young students, which can be translated into indications of any emotional problems that deserve an intervention or even just probing to identify any problems.
The restrictions of social isolation did not allow this part of the work to be developed previously, so we remain in the development work in the game that will be used as a basis for applying the tests necessary to meet the expected work methodology. This phase is expected to end by the end of 2022.
Based on the fulfillment of all the stages of evaluation of the results of the tests applied and their observations, it will be possible to generate an indicative report with the results obtained in the participating school of the project with the indication of possible predisposing factors and an analysis of the correlation of the problem.
