Women experience high exposure to air pollution due to their greater involvement in household activities such as cooking, sometimes with infants or children in close proximity. However, reliance on polluting fuels and technologies imposes a burden well beyond the smoke inhaled. This has been caused by the use of old traditional means of cooking in lushoto district community where by more than 2000 woman's and girls are getting affected with lungs cancer.
