Meet Nemr.
All his life, he has dreamt of having a toy to call his own. You see, growing up in northwest Syria, six year old Nemr has spent his whole life in displacement and has only known a world of conflict. Nemr and his brother live alone with their mother, after he lost his father as a baby. Since then, his mother has struggled to make ends meet. Sometimes Nemr's family has gone without meals to ensure that they could survive without aid. Nemr has never had a toy - especially not a teddy to love - because his family cannot afford such luxuries in life.
That's where NuDay comes in.
With your support, NuDay was able to gift Nemr with a giant teddy bear - bigger than anything Nemr could ever have imagined! Nemr has never been so excited about anything before in his life and is constantly hugging and loving the teddy (who he has fittingly named Mr. Tedy). Thankfully, Mr. Teddy is big enough to take in all of Nemr's affections!
While NuDay's containers may seem simple, it's moments like these that remind us of how important the aid we send really is. Thanks to you, we are able to rebuild childhoods through the gift of something as simple as a teddy, which only goes to ensure that Nemr can have the space to heal and grow as a child. This is how we're building Syria for a democratic and love-filled future. One toy at a time.
