Access to safe and hygienic sanitation is a basic human right—yet many public schools in Enugu State still lack proper toilet facilities. At Helpers Social Development Foundation, we are committed to changing that.
We are currently raising funds to implement a Sanitary Facility Project in selected public schools, but we have yet to receive the donations needed to begin this vital work.
Despite the urgency and importance of this project, students and teachers are still forced to practice open defecation, exposing them to serious health risks and environmental hazards.
By supporting this initiative, you will help us provide dignified, clean, and safe toilet facilities, which are essential for:
Promoting hygiene among pupils and teachers
Preventing disease outbreaks in school communities
Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, especially for girls
